During the mid 1960's a small group of believers began to hold prayer meetings in one of their homes and thus Bible Baptist Church was birthed.  These prayer meetings continued and grew until on April 16, 1965 Bible Baptist Church was formally organized.

In June 1966 the church moved to it's current location where over the next eight years three new buildings were built and thus remodeled to become the current structural complex.  The current auditorium will comfortably seat 350 and has the capability for a balcony to be opened to seat many more.  

The object of this church shall be:

1. To glorify God in the salvation of souls through the preaching of the crucified, risen, glorified and coming Savior, Christ Jesus.
2. To promote by every possible scriptural means the world wide proclamation of the glorious and saving gospel of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
3. To maintain regular services for the promotion of prayer, worship, Bible study and fellowship. 
4. To provide a haven of fellowship for all who have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Savior Jesus Christ. 
5. To instruct its members in the things of God, thus contributing to their spiritual edification and thus encouraging them in holy living. 
6. To observe and administer the ordinances of the Lord's Supper and Baptism. 
7. To contend earnestly for the faith once for all delivered to the saints and to defend it vigorously against every onslaught of the enemy. II Cor. 6:14-7:1, II Peter 2. 
8. To cooperate with Christian activity functioning in harmony with God's Holy Word, the Bible.

Church Covenant:

Publicly confessing my faith in Christ as the Son of God, and as Savior of the world, and as my personal Savior, having been baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost, I do now in the presence of God and this assembly most joyfully enter into covenant with this body of believers as one body in Christ.

I engage, therefore, by the aid of the heavenly Father and the direction of the Holy Spirit, to do the Father's will, to take this church as my church, and its members as my fellow members in the family of faith, to submit to the loving oversight and discipline of the officers of the church, to walk together in Christian love; to strive for the advancement of this Church in knowledge, holiness, and comfort; to promote its prosperity and spirituality; to sustain its worship, ordinances, discipline, and doctrine; to give it a sacred preeminence over all institutions of human origin; to contribute cheerfully and regularly to the support of the ministry, the expenses of the Church, the relief of the poor, and the spread of the Gospel through all nations.

We also engage to maintain family and secret devotions; to religiously educate our children; to seek the salvation of our kindred and acquaintances; to walk circumspectly in the world; to be just in our dealings, faithful in our engagements and exemplary in our deportment; to avoid all tattling, backbiting, and excessive anger; to abstain from the sale and use of intoxicating drinks as a beverage; and to be zealous in our efforts to advance the kingdom of our Savior.

We further engage to watch over one another in brotherly love; to remember each other in prayer; to aid each other in sickness and in distress; to cultivate Christian sympathy in feeling and courtesy in speech; to be slow to take offense, but always for reconciliation and mindful of the rule of our Savior to secure it without delay.

We moreover engage that when we remove from this place, we will as soon as possible unite with some other Church, where we can carry out the spirit of this covenant and the principles of God's Word.
